Alhamdulilah, we have had a successful start to the school year. I would like to congratulate and applaud all my Music students for their fantastic enthusiasm, dedication and engagement throughout Term 1.
The highly creative Year 8 Music students have had a busy term engaging with their 'Mic Drop' project. For this major project students developed skills in investigating, designing, producing and evaluating their video production. All students brought forward their expertise and showcased knowledge of different skills associated with body percussions, film techniques and FlipaClip. Please see below for snippets of our producing stage. In our Mathematics class, we have focused on algebraic techniques and equations. The students were challenged with a real world inspired assessment task, which allowed us to think outside the box. Please see below for examples of our creative assessments.I pray you all have a well-deserved break and look forward to meeting you all in the near future, inshAllah. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me via dilek.boduk@irfancollege.nsw.edu.au
Warm regards,
Ms. Dilek Bödük
