Year 6- Term 3 2022

Year 6 have had an amazing term alhamdulillah.

We have learned a lot about the benefits of recycling through the return and earn program. We were able to raise money for our class fundraiser just by collecting bottles/cans throughout the term. For PDH, students learned about safety and wellbeing by looking at community groups and how we can become more involved in the community to be of benefit to others and ourselves.

We further put this into practice when our Year 6 SRC's joined the Brothers in Need at Martin Place to hand out Food/water/ sanitary items to those in need. For Creative Arts, students created human rights posters which linked with our History unit this term, 'Australia as a Nation'. We were also able to replicate beat/rhythm while listening to Al Firdaus Ensemble during our Creative Arts lessons. Overall, students had a very productive and hands-on term.
