Year 5 T3 2019

Year 5 have successfully completed another fruitful term where they focused on a number of hands on activities. During science, year 5 have been learning about the transfer of energy in different forms. Students planned, designed and constructed their very own solar oven using various materials to cook a 'pizza' using the sun's energy transferred into heat. It sure was yummy!
During creative arts, year 5 had the opportunity to recreate traditional tales where they designed, scripted and performed a puppet show to the year 5 class. This was definitely an exciting experience for them as they took part in many drama roles of playing diverse characters.
