Ms Rawan's Message:
Year 4 have been learning about writing poems during literacy lessons. Students have learnt about the use of language techniques such as similes, metaphors and onomatopoeia. Students have learnt about how some poems use repetition and rhyme to enhance the poem and engage the reader. The poems below are written by students the first image features a poem about the beach and how humans have a responsibility to protect it. The second image shows a student's using onomatopoeia to describe the setting as well as enhance writing.
Finally, Thank you to all the students in Year 4. It has been an absolute pleasure teaching you this semester! You have all been wonderful and I have enjoyed getting to know all of you! Thank you for letting me be a part of your journey!
I hope you all enjoy your holidays and have a wonderful time with your family.
Best Wishes,
Ms Rawan
Ms Samah's Message:
I would like to give a warm thank you to all my students and every parent/caregiver of Year 4. The past two years have been filled with countless, heart-felt memorable moments that I continue to reflect on. I sincerely believe that having the pleasure to share learning experiences with your children has been the highlight of my career.
Since last year, we've embarked on a journey together to unpack what it means to be a Vicegerent of Allah (swt). We have understood the importance of nurturing one another as well as caring for the environment and most importantly- we have acted on these beliefs. My Year 4 students are kind, respectful, mature and conscious beings, alhumdulilah.I make dua that Allah (swt) protects and continues to guide each one of my students to the Straight Path. May you all continue to marvel at Allah's Signs and miracles. May you all continue to strive in His way and please Him. May you all strive to emulate the character of our beloved Prophet (p.b.u.h).
I will miss each one of you. Keep in touch!
Kind regards,
Ms Samah
