Year 4 have had another great term Alhamdillah.
Our peace garden has been progressing well and we will soon be able to see it all come together InshaAllah! Students have been busy digging up the soil and the first of our plants have started to go in.
For History this semester, students have been studying the First Fleet and initial contact with British and Aboriginal communities. To extend on content delivered in class, year 4 travelled to the Museum of Sydney. The excursion consisted of a guided tour around the place that Arthur Phillip's house once stood. Students enjoyed engaging in various activities and looking at Aboriginal fossils.
As our students and parents know, this was Ms Eman's final term with year 4 before she embarks on her maternity leave journey. Ms Eman, would like to send a massive thank you to everyone in year 4 for all the heartfelt and memorable moments we have shared. I pray that you all continue to flourish and succeed in the years ahead.
Ms Samah and Ms Eman.
