Students throughout the term focused on living and non-living things in Science, different environments in Geography and interpersonal relationships and growth mindset in PDH. As part of our integration system, students were able to reflect on verses from the Quran, Hadith and the names of Allah in all their subjects. In groups, students designed and built their own chicken coop as part of their class project. They had to create a poster that outlined the procedure of making their coop, the maintenance requirements in a school environment, chicken life cycle, choose a verse from the Quran to reflect on the environmental aspects of our permaculture garden and chicken coop and made a connection to Allah’s names. As part of their final assessment, students had to present their projects to the class.
We were also very blessed to have Mr Ali and Ms Eman witness the presentations.
