All praise be to Allah (SWT) and may peace and blessings be upon His beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW), his family, companions and to all those who follow him.
Year 3
Alhamdulillah, we have come to the end of another fruitful term in which our students have developed into intelligent and responsible Muslims that display the utmost respect and love for our beautiful religion. Throughout this term, all students have participated in the journey of understanding the actions of the 5 pillars of Islam.
Year 3 focused on 'Fasting, Zakat and Hajj.' They were given tasks which outlined the different steps and actions of these pillars of worship.
The tasks were greatly done and therefore had a huge impact to our students which made them more cautious and aware of the rulings when and how to fast in the month of Ramadan, who pays zakat and can receive zakat and the importance of hajj.
Year 5
Alhamdulillah, we have come to the end of another fruitful term in which our students have developed into intelligent and responsible Muslims that display the utmost respect and love for our beautiful religion. Throughout this term, all students have participated in the journey of understanding the actions of the 5 pillars of Islam.
Year 5 focused on 'Jurisprudence of Hajj.' They went through the different steps on how to perform hajj its rituals and rulings of hajj. Students are now aware of the messages behind the act of worship of hajj and how it is a prescription of salvation to mankind (reference Surah Al-Imran Verse 96).
The tasks were greatly done and therefore had a huge impact in our students which made them aware of the importance and benefits of hajj and how it can change someone into a righteous person which it makes you cautious of Allah (Azzawajal).
Quran Studies
Alhamdulillah the progress of our students in Qur'an Studies this term was extraordinary. We had and constantly see our students from Years 3 to 6 demonstrating perseverance in Qur'an studies whilst taking the Hadith as motivation.
Allah's Messenger (saw) said, "If anyone recites a letter from Allah's Book he will be credited with a good deed, and a good deed gets a tenfold reward. I do not say that 'Alif-Lam-Mim' are one letter, but 'alif' is a letter, 'lam' is a letter, and 'mim' is a letter."
Keeping this in mind our students constantly strive to read and memorise the Qur'an.
We pray Allah (SWT) allows our students to keep the Qur'an in the centre of their lives and let the Book of Allah (Azzawajal) be the light of their hearts.
Jazakumullahu Khayran.
