Year 3 has been engaged in a wide range of hands-on and interactive activities relating to their Science topic 'Living World' and their Geography topic 'Places are Similar and Different'. Students were given the opportunity to research an animal of their choice and explore their lifecycle.
During modelled reading, students particularly enjoyed reading 'Misery Guts' by Morris Gleitzman. Our reading lessons implemented the 'Super Six' Comprehension Strategies. This ensures students have understood what they have read and encourages them to apply their knowledge in answering the questions to find deeper meaning.I loved getting to know all students and can't wait to make more memories. I look forward to watching all my students grow into young and inquisitive individuals.
