Alhamdulillah we have made it to the end of a really productive term.
This term we focused on our writing structure and language features. We looked at ways to make our imaginative writing more engaging for the reader by using alliteration, onomatopoeia, speech marks and a lot of adjectives. Students worked with hands-on materials in Mathematics to investigate 2D shapes and their attributes. In Science, we have been learning about Living World. We have been looking at how people use various animals for different purposes. We learnt about sheep and how people make use of their wool in various ways. Students made their sheep using cotton balls and wrote some information about the uses of wool around the sheep.
You must agree that our sheep look 'baa-ry' good.
I would like to extend my gratitude to you all for ensuring students complete given homework and tasks. During the break I highly recommend that students read books regularly to improve comprehension and fluency in reading. I look forward to a fruitful term ahead InshAllah.Wishing you a restful break.
