Year 10 students have been studying the very famous Shakespearean text 'Macbeth'. Students had the opportunity to deconstruct the text where the main focus was on Macbeth's demise. Students were asked to choose why the tragedy occured and if his demise was due to evil desires or external influences. Students had written an argumentative essay that was aimed to convince the reader to take their side. They were taken on an excursion where the year 10 students viewed a theatrical performance on 'Macbeth', which allowed them to comprehend and deconstruct the text to a deeper understanding
