Visual Arts T1 2021

Posted by Ms Danielle Jebara on 12 April 2021

This year kicked off with a bang for the Visual Arts.

Year 7 began an exciting semester of Mask making, with a focus on Aboriginal Arts. Year 9 navigated the world of printmaking, by working on a series of lino print editions influenced by Lucien Henry's artwork, 'Waratah'. Year 11 have been assessing Art Criticism and Art History through an in-depth assessment of their first Preliminary Visual Arts Case Study: Timeline of Art History and Year 12 have been working ever so hard to complete their HSC Body of Work.
Year 11 embarked on an exciting excursion to the Art Gallery of New South Wales to view and experience the 2021 ARTEXPRESS exhibition. The exhibition showcased the 2020 HSC artworks of students, setting expectations high for our Year 11 Visual Arts students.
