TURKISH Term 4 2021

Posted by Ms Yuksel Doganci on 9 December 2021

Dear Parents and Students,

We have come to the end of an extremely busy and productive year. Students studying Turkish were able to further develop their reading, writing, speaking and listening skills this term. It is pleasing to note that so many students in Primary school have shown an improvement since Term 1.

Students in Year 6 enjoyed engaging about the topic ‘Communication and Holiday’. Year 5 students during Turkish lessons, engaged within and learnt the topic ‘what do you like as a hobby’. Within this, students explored their hobbies in Turkish culture. Students in Year 4 were studying the topic ‘Storytelling’, were they engaged in reading short stories in Turkish. Year 3 students also engaged in reading short stories in Turkish. Younger students have done different activities in the classroom. They demonstrated steady progress in all areas and practiced reading, writing, and speaking in Turkish.

I wish you all the very best in 2022. Have a safe and wonderful holiday! See you all next year Insallah.
