Dear parents,
This term has been very busy for students learning Turkish. We have covered a broad range of topics which has allowed students to explore areas such as daily routine, cultures, celebrations, animals, and pets as well as weekdays, months, and seasons in a year. In addition to this, students have learnt about the different grammatical and writing features that are required to write good sentences and stories. The younger students also had the opportunity to extend their knowledge of the Turkish language. These students learnt how to name objects by matching pictures to their correct words. They have also learnt about reading and writing, spelling, and letters in the Turkish alphabet. These students have also learnt numerical values and how to count in Turkish.
I wish everyone a safe and enjoyable holiday and hope to see everyone refreshed and ready to start Term 3.
