Primary Turkish T1 2019

Posted by Ms Yuksel Doganci on 16 April 2019
Dear parents, this term has been very busy for students learning Turkish. We have covered a range of topics which has allowed students to explore areas such as family and relatives, different hobbies, weather and climate as well as the different days in the week and months in the year. In addition to this, students have learnt about the different grammatical and writing features that are required to write good sentences and stories. The younger students also had the opportunity to extend their knowledge of the Turkish language. These students learnt how to name objects by matching pictures to their correct words. They have also learnt about reading and writing, spelling and letters in the Turkish alphabet. These students have also learnt numerical values and how to count in Turkish.
I wish everyone a safe and enjoyable holiday and hope to see everyone refreshed and ready for the start of Term 2.
