Dear Parents, Caregivers, Students and Community Members,
An exciting and busy term three has seen our Year 5 and 6 students compete in the first ever Harmony Cup Islamic Schools Soccer Competition in which our students were runners up in the Grand Final. We were unlucky to lose the penalty shootout to Unity Grammar. Excellent effort to the students who participated and a big thank you to Mr Mohammed who coached the team.

Our Secondary students participated in an NRL program at school during Thursday Sports. This was aimed at improving NRL skills such as passing and catching.

Our 7-10 girls competed in the All Girls Tri Sport Competition held at Merrylands Oval on 8 August. Great effort and determination displayed on the day. Well done to our girls who competed.

Our Year 7-10 boys competed in the inaugural Soccer Gala Day Competition against Western Grammar on 8 August. Our boys won the Year 7 trophy, Year 8 Trophy and Year 9/10 trophy. Excellent effort to our boys.

Our Year 9/10 students participated in the Bachar Houli AFL Cup Competition which was held on 14 August. Great effort and sportsmanship showed by our boys who attended.

Our Year 8 boys and girls competed for the first time in the Bernera Zone Public Schools Competition which was held on 15 August. Our boys were competitive in Oz tag with great results and our girls were runners up in Soccer. Excellent effort!

Our Year 7/8 boys soccer team competed in the Faith Shield Soccer Competition on 3 September. Determination and skill was on display. Well done to our boys.

Finally, our Year 7 students competed in the Bernera Zone Public Schools Gala Day on 5 September. Our boys competed in Soccer and were runners up and our girls finished third place in Oz Tag. Brilliant effort from our Year 7 students.
** Please note; The K 10 Athletics /Sports Carnival will be held on Friday 25 October (weather permitting). We would love to see parent attendance on the day.
