Year 10 have had a great start to Commerce this term. Students have been actively engaged in the topic 'Consumer Choice' and have participated in a range of activities designed to enhance their learning experience. During our lessons, students participated in very meaningful class discussions, where they displayed great interest in the various consumer and legal concepts that we explored. Students completed online research activities, comparison shopping, and investigated pathways for consumer redress. Students learnt how to write letters to send to the Department of Fair Trading should they find themselves in a position where their consumer rights have been breached in accordance with state or Commonwealth legislation. Student's particularly enjoyed our impromptu debating tasks, where they displayed great confidence in applying the various consumer and legal issues we covered during our lessons. I have thoroughly enjoyed our journey thus far and I am excited to continue exploring our upcoming topics in Term 2. In the meantime, enjoy your well-deserved break and stay safe.
