Bravery Unmasked - Art Club
Students in Art Club will be involved in an exciting project called Bravery Unmasked working in collaboration with Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre. The project involves students working in groups to creatively decorate a radiation mask that was worn by a cancer patient. The mask is a symbol of the experience of cancer and the traumatic journey. Students will redecorate the mask to help distress the treatment process and remove the negative associations of the masks.

The masks will be exhibited in Casula Powerhouse's selection committee which then will choose masks to be exhibited at the gallery from the 27th of October to the 18th of November 2018. The exhibited masks will be sold and sales of the masks will be donated to the Liverpool Wellness Centre which supports patients and their families. Inshallah we hope that our masks enter the exhibition so they are sold to make a difference to the lives of patients and their families. Watch this space!
