Irfan College celebrated National Science Week, 2018 by hosting a range of activities for students throughout the week. Kindergarten to Year 2 students investigated light and sound by using raybox kits and tuning forks. Years 3 and 4 learned about the making of fire works by doing flame tests, Years 5 and 6 investigated electricity by creating circuits. High school boys built sundials, bird houses and bird baths for our school garden, while the high school girls made and packaged soap to sell and raise funds for our SRC treasury. All in all, it was an eventful and engaging week.
